Study Setting

Is it just me or do you love a well appointed study?  Beautiful rich wood, leather armchairs, the smell of books aching to be read that will magically transport you to a different time or place. I personally think it’s a wonderful way to relax.

Sitting on a comfortable Montreal Sofa or Armchair and just taking the time to read a good book is something we rarely get the chance to do these days. If only we took more time out of our busy schedules to do this, then I think the world would be a more relaxed place!

Sliding into a soft plush sofa with a cup of coffee or tea is wonderfully welcomed after a hard day’s work.  What’s even more enjoyable is to occasionally gaze around the room and take in your surroundings.

Things you have bought locally or items gathered overseas are all part of what makes a study special.

Here we’ve used our lush Montreal Sofa along with our Safari column lamps and an over scale 1848 study of an Hippopotamus skull adorns the wall reminding us of our trips to Africa.
